A delightful dining experience at Indian Summer Colombo! We indulged in the mutton boneless biriyani, which was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The assorted naan bucket paired with the rich, creamy butter chicken masala was absolutely amazing. To top it all off, the brownie with ice cream made for a perfect dessert, with its warm, gooey texture complemented by the cool ice cream. The food was fantastic, and the presentation was impressive. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine. Looking forward to visiting again!
Calm and cool place for dinning with your loved ones. Foods are delicious, but little bit expensive compared with the quantity. Friendly staff, but wash rooms are not much clean.
I went to this restaurant with my friend for lunch. They have verity of Indian dishes. The taste of food is good but it can be improved. They are one of the popular hotel. Also one more thing Indian restaurant has spoiled our habits about getting pickle and onions as side but here you have pay for it. Overall this place is good if you are missing Indian food in Srilanka. Do let me know about your experience.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the Best Meals We’ve Had – Truly Impressed! We had such a fantastic dining experience at Indian Summer Restaurant that we just had to write a review! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and some of the friendliest staff we’ve ever encountered. We ordered the Boneless Chicken Dum Biryani, Egg Dum Biryani, Garlic Naan, Cheese Naan, Paneer Butter Masala, Faluda, and a Chocolate Milkshake – and honestly, every single dish was amazing. The biryanis were flavorful and perfectly spiced, with generous portions and tender textures. The naans were hot, soft, and packed with flavor – especially the cheese naan, which was a real highlight. The Paneer Butter Masala was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. For dessert, the Faluda was refreshing and beautifully presented, and the Chocolate Milkshake was thick, smooth, and exactly what we needed to wrap up a hearty meal. What really stood out, though, was the service. The waiters were incredibly attentive, polite, and genuinely eager to make our experience special. They checked in at the right times, made great recommendations, and made us feel truly cared for. It’s rare to find such exceptional service these days, and we really appreciated it. This was our first visit, but definitely not the last. Highly recommend Indian Summer to anyone who loves great Indian food and top-notch hospitality!
The food was so delicious. Highly recommend the butter garlic fish and chicken 65. Ambience is super good and portion size 1:1 means actually 1:2!
