I tried Goat curry came with free Garlic naan. My partner tried paneer kadhai. Food is above expectation. Good atmosphere n lovely family oriented people. They have separate VEGAN MENU. Love u guys

A hidden little gem out in Ferrymead overlooking the water with a really nice atmosphere. The owner is super cool! And the food was superb, definitely a top contender for the best Indian in Christchurch for sure. Highly recommend!

Fabulous restaurant right in Ferrymead. Family run and the owner is such a great host. If you are looking for good clean Indian food you must come to Indian Ocean. We had Lamb Anari and prawn masala but I recommend highly any food here. You won't be dissappointed. Bring your friends and family and celebrate special occasions. They own LaRuby Thai place behind this restaurant. They are both our go to. Always made to feel special.

Always enjoy the food at Indian Ocean---great place to go with views over the Christchurch Estuary. Excellent value and First Table made it even better for us and staff are friendly with us using First Table---which some places are not. Highly recommend.
