Delicious fresh vegan food, tastefully presented in a beautifully designed space near the Kamo river and Kamigamo shrine. There is an English menu and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Seating is in tatami rooms with sliding doors, overlooking a small garden. The shop is also a hair salon that sells natural beauty products.
Their veggie burger has the best plant-based meat i have ever put in my mouth. Great quiet atmosphere. My seating area only had low tables, so people with mobility issues may want to check ahead if any other seating options are available.
Delicious food. The place has a lot going on though with a hair salon and a spa in there as well. But seating inside the actual cafe is peaceful and serene.
We came to the cafe from kyoto town as we saw it online. It's inside a spa so it's a bit unconventional but very cozy with the reading sofas. The food itself is truly amazing ? all fresh and lovingly put together ❤️ there's lots of fresh vegetables and the japanese dishes are very good and homemade! As a vegan I loved this place because it was all healthy and fresh as well as authentic but also something new. The matcha tiramisu is really not to be missed. Another thing is: the people. They were so helpful and nice, they even helped us order a taxi back to our hotel. Very kind, and tried to talk to us in english. Their hospitality is unmatched. We also met their dog whose name is Love. She's really kawaii ? Arigatou gozaimasu for helping us and for the extraordinary meal !
Just superb! We sat out on the terrace on a beautiful sunny late April afternoon and it was heaven! A beer in the sun, a buck wheat noodle salad and the vegan burger was the perfect combination. We couldn’t have been more relaxed here. Definitely worth stopping in!
