Delicious food served fast. Lots of freebies like lentil soup, salad, hummus with naan etc. Excellent value for money. For 5 of us the bill came to £62.50 and lots of food was left that we packed and took home.

My first evening in London after a long journey I ate at HAWLER. This was the best decision I made that day. The restaurant is bustling with a nice atmosphere and very hospitable staff. I had the lamb and chicken tikka and before even ordering I already had received a complimentary bowl of lentil soup, which was very delicious and lovely to warm up from the cold outside. The meal was wonderful as the charred meat was rich, tasty and tender. The table was so full with all kinds of extras to eat with the meal, something I am not used to but enjoy greatly. Very affordable price, I would recommend anyone in the area to check this restaurant out. First and definitely not last time I am having Iraqi cuisine!

Service was fast and friendly, would have given 4.5 star if possible, only issue from all the dishes we had was the spicing and oily taste fron frying the kofta, not to my taste !. Otherwise very good.

I’ve been to HAWLER a few times now and it’s quickly become one of my favourite spots on Edgware Road. The food is always fresh and full of flavour. I’ve tried the fish, which was perfectly cooked, and I’ve had the Qozi a few times before it’s absolutely delicious and highly recommended if you like rich, traditional Kurdish dishes. The service has always been friendly and attentive without being over the top. It’s a warm and welcoming place, whether you’re going with friends or just grabbing a solo meal. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into authentic Kurdish food.

I came back after a long time, having said that their food quality hasn't changed in the slightest. Customer service is just awesome and also reasonable prices. More importantly, they give you a bowl of soup, salad , yoghurt , hommos, and pickles as a complimentary. Highly recommended to everyone who's around ? ? ?
