Some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in a long time. The staff and chefs were friendly and attentive. Their drinks menu included a nice variety of Japanese alcohols. The restaurant had a warm, cozy feel to it. I was able to just walk in but I’d recommend booking a table in advance if planning on dining more than two people. My Agedashi Cheese was surprising light but full of flavour. The Chicken Katsu Don ticked all the right boxes and came with more rice than I realised. I will definitely be back in the future, and next time I’ll come properly prepared with an emptier stomach!

It’s our fav local. Our go to are agedashi tofu, chicken skewers, grilled salmon and sashimi. And it’s BYO! Staff and the owner are always attentive and welcoming.

We stumbled into this place on Anzac Day. Simply amazing food. Service is outstanding and the wine and drinks menu is just so surprising. We sat at the bar watching the chefs cook. So much care into the food prep. You just have to eat here. New owners we found out. They are onto something here. Hidden Gem in Nobbys. Try the Korean Fried Chicken, half hot half soy. So good.

My son picked somewhere new for a Sunday night on OpenTable (yes it’s open on Sunday night - new owners can’t change the Google listing yet). Food was delicious and the service was brilliant. Well worth a visit if you love modern Japanese cuisine accompanied by funky beats.

Absolute hidden gem of Nobbys!! Jessica was so lovely and accommodating, the food and service was a 10/10, the chicken was some of the best I’ve had. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Tucked away in the heart of Nobbys and walked straight in without a booking! Definitely will be coming back ?
