Hands down best Mexican I’ve had on the Gold Coast!!! ? Came here after a spa, asked to reserve a spot (thankfully they fit the 2 of us in on a very busy night). The gentleman who seated us was so lovely - reseated us from the bar to a comfortable table once there was space, kept checking on us and so friendly! All the staff were wonderful. I haven’t had such good customer service in a long time. Food wait time was near to none! I couldn’t believe how fast our food came out. Tacos were scrumptious & the corn on a cob I’ll come back for. The margaritas were delicious too!

Amazing atmosphere and service! Tacos were delish, could use more sauce and the birria broth is not as flavourful as I would like but it is light! tortilla chips were really hard though.

We had a great experience at Mexicalli last night! The staff took great care of us, and a special mention to Esther, who was incredibly attentive and kind throughout the night. Everything was delicious, and the place itself is beautiful. Just one small note—some of the tacos are quite spicy, and it would be good to have a heads-up for those who might not handle spice well. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

A surprise find and we'll return at some point to try a main meal (not just dessert). The chocolate pudding in a skillet was exceptional and white sangria was very nice.
