Our go-to place for down to earth Vegetarian food. We have been there so many times that the staff probably know us by now and they are always friendly and accommodating to our requests. The place was pretty packed on a weekday night and there were quite a few tables of foreigners which was a pleasant sight. We had the satay (must order!), vegetable rolls, seasonal greens and monkey head mushroom + tofu - all were on point. I hope to be able to eat through their whole menu one day. The next item I would try, would be the vegetarian beking duck with yam (sounds yum already)
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I can confidently say it won’t be my last! Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience was fantastic. We ordered the Vegetable Yam Ring, Monkey Head Mushroom with Broccoli and Asparagus, French Beans,Nyonya-Style Vegetarian Fish, and Stir-Fried Vermicelli Each dish was perfectly balanced—not too salty, not too oily, and bursting with flavor. What I truly appreciated was the focus on fresh vegetables and creative recipes, with fewer reliance on fake meats. The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. If you’re looking for a vegetarian restaurant that delivers on taste, quality, and variety, this is the place to go! Highly recommended!
We recently held a farewell gathering at Eight Treasures Vegetarian Restaurant, and it was a fantastic choice. The food was delicious and plentiful, and everyone left feeling satisfied and impressed. The standout dishes for us were the Eight Treasures Beancurd and the Crispy Fragrant Lotus Root. The beancurd was cooked to perfection and served in a rich, savory gravy that paired beautifully with our brown rice. The lotus root was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a fragrant flavor that was simply addictive. The service was also friendly and attentive, making our gathering feel warm and welcoming. Overall, we were impressed with Eight Treasures Vegetarian Restaurant.
A wonderful place to have a meal, even if you aren't vegetarian. Slightly challenging to find, but worth your effort. This is a place for casual dining with really a great variety of vegetarian food that is delicious. Sometimes you might think something wasn't vegetarian --- but it is! I ate here with a large group of about 40 people in the upstairs room for lunch. We ate a set menu for the group and in this way, we got to try a large variety of dishes. The service style is Chinese, meaning that the tables have one, round spinner on them onto which food is served "family style". Of the dishes in our set menu, there was a generous amount of everything. The food was really tasty. The servers were very nice and worked hard to get the food on the tables at a good pace and while the food was still hot. They serve authentic Chinese-style food. I would definitely go back with a friend for a casual meal.
Absolutely delicious vegetarian fare at Eight Treasures! The variety of dishes is great and everything was perfectly seasoned. You won't even be able to tell it's vegetarian! Service was on point too. Would definitely come back and 10/10 recommend!!
