Ordered cheese / garlic naan which tasted nice paired with the mint sauce, the spicy mutton and chicken curry tasted so tender and flavourful, the hyderabadi briyani tasted flavourful and meat is tender and lastly the eggplant dish was good as well. Overall i would like to say congrats but the service needs alot of improvement, given wrong order and lady at the cashier service without a smile and somehow looked rude. The male waiter by the way was more attentive and hardworking.
d'Tandoor Restaurant in Penang is a beautifully designed North Indian restaurant with a warm and elegant ambiance. The long lights and artistic wall decorations add a touch of charm, making the dining experience feel special. The restaurant is also well-maintained, creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere for guests. The food here is mainly North Indian cuisine, and while the taste is decent, it may not be the best for those looking for bold, authentic flavors. The restaurant is also on the pricier side, so it may not be the best option for budget-friendly dining. If you're looking for a nice ambiance and a well-presented North Indian meal, d'Tandoor is worth a visit, but if food quality is your top priority, there might be better options.
This was my second time at this restaurant, and it was just as amazing as the first. The food is authentic, flavorful, and consistently delicious. I especially loved the butter chicken perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The staff, Mr. yezdan friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Definitely a go-to spot for great Indian food!
Nice variety of north indian dishes. Recommend the lamb sheesh rampuri, chooza tikka ( spring chicken), garlic naan, dhal tarka, bendi masala and the palak paneer. Lovely desserts too. Must try the gulab jamoon and rasamalai! Cordial staff (especially, Mr. Azam) and great ambience.
