3 Chome-4-2 Roppongi, Minato City, Tokyo 106-0032, Japan
This place, located near my stay at the Comfort Inn Roppongi, was packed with people when I arrived with a friend. Despite the wait of about 20 minutes, it was worth it. The food was delicious, and the best part was the attentive host. He would ask about our food preferences and dietary restrictions, making an effort to prepare something special for us. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find that they had a great selection of vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is open late, and they will serve you food if you can wait for your turn, especially during the nighttime. I had a wonderful time here, and the host was incredibly warm and considerate. We had a great conversation about various topics, and he was particularly passionate about Senna, a Formula 1 driver. I always look for a place with a good playlist, and this place definitely has it. They have a diverse range of music, from Indian classics to rock bands, catering to all tastes. If you’re in Roppongi, I highly recommend this place. Arigatto, Bonnie san.
Downtown B’s is an absolute gem in the heart of Roppongi! This cozy cafe serves home-style Indian food with a wide selection of both veg and non-veg dishes that left us impressed. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a beautiful wall of spiritual posters and music that set the tone for a unique experience. The host’s warm and attentive hospitality made our visit incredibly special. His genuine passion for spreading love and spirituality through food is evident in every interaction. Conversations flowed easily with guests from all over the world, making each visit feel like a philosophical and cultural exchange. We dined there on two out of three nights during our Tokyo stay. On our last night, he gifted us a copy of “The Art of Simple Living,” a book that’s had a big impact on his life. It’s clear that his goal is to create a space where ideas, culture, and delicious food all come together in the most beautiful way. Do plan ahead as the place tends to be packed, but the wait is definitely worth it. Thank you Bonnie for taking our Tokyo experience to another level and deepening our appreciation for Japanese culture and society. Highly recommend!
Cozy, no-nonsense eatery with friendly staff and delicious curry. Garlic naan could have been slightly more chewy and buttery, but I guess that‘s subjective. Would definitely come again.
Found this gem of a place in Tokyo. The food's amazing but the hospitality is even better. The owner makes sure everyone at his restaurant has a great time. I had an amazing conversation with him and other patrons. I got to learn about their lives in Tokyo. He even offered me Hibiki whiskey on the house. I will definitely revisit this place when I am in Tokyo next.
We had an amazing late lunch at this place! Food was fresh, delicious, and not heavy! Portions are just right and prices are good! We had a great conversation with the owner, he gave us some good advices on what to see and try in Tokyo!
