The best Indian food I have had outside India. The dosa was great, but what really blew my mind was the Sambar!! It was so perfect - the aroma, the taste, the temperature, the not-mushy veges!!! The tomato chutney too, is a treat.

Excellent Indian takeout in the Riverside Market which has multiple ethnic options. The Dosa Kitchen had a small line but it moved quickly. They give you a pager with a 15-20 minute wait for the freshly cooked food. We had both the New Zealand lamb dosa as well as the butter chicken dosa. Very fresh and tasty, not greasy & bloating like many other Indian restaurants

Absolutely delicious food at Dosa Kitchen in Riverside Market! The dosas are perfectly crispy, and the flavors are authentic and full of spice. The chutneys and sambar complement the meal beautifully. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. A must-visit spot in Christchurch for anyone craving real South Indian flavors. Highly recommend!

Wow ? I’ve been here a couple of times before for cardamom chai because it’s so hard to find one in New Zealand I feel. Today we decided to have dinner here and we chose the Lamb kadhai and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. The rice that comes with it is complimentary which is really nice. The curries were amazing, it was very flavourful and the meat was so tender. The portion sizes are generous aswell. Highly recommend this place. Good customer service aswell. Thank you

I never thought that I would find a store in south island with the best, crispy and delicious dosa that feels like home. Very busy place i can see the reason why, Dosa kitchen taste was as good as I had them in India. Last week I had cardamom tea. It's perfect for the winter weather. It warms the palate and body. I don't usually like sweet teas, but the naturally sweet cardamom tea difficult to say NO. Caffeine-free -cardamom and cardamom tea is often enjoyed as a relaxing beverage. Highly recommend for other masala tea too. All the best for next 4th TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice award.
