The food and service were excellent, but the restaurant's atmosphere didn't match the cuisine. The interior design didn't reflect the Asian theme, making it almost impossible to guess the restaurant's focus upon entering. Feels like a hotel lobby instead of a proper dining establishment.
Browsing google map to find some chinese food and found them with lots of 5 star review. Walked a little to find it as it does not have a sign anywhere in sight. walked into the hotel and was shown the way to tyhe restaurant. We come on a tuesday 1pm and was surprise to see the restaurant is empty. Glad that we have go ahead and try the food here. The Duck is very very good. smoked crispy skin and soft on the inside. Dim Sum taste are spot on. And the fried rice is really good. Very reasonable price.
Came here for the occasion of my son’s birthday. Food was excellent! Must also say the best dim sum I ever found in town. It was on a public holiday and a Sunday too, so service was not totally up to the expected standards but we still had a great fine dinning experience in Brisbane. Will be back for more for sure ?
This place is probably one of the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever visited. The old charm mixed with modern style is just beautiful. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We ordered chicken, prawn + shiitake siu mai as entree, very tasty. For main we had kung pao chicken, stir fried beef & pork and prawn fried rice. All were taste amazing, the only problem was some of the beef was chewy. We couldn’t swallow it. We were expecting the beef to just melt in your mouth given the price point. The portion was generous. My husband and I were too full to order a dessert. I also had the bubble tea, it tastes refreshing. Nice place for date night.
