Shop 198, coventry Square Markets, Walter Road, Morley (1st shop via rear entrance at Gate 6)
Brunch at De Honey, told by owner from Penang about their satay special. BBQ Honey Chicken with rice taste good, authentic Assam Laksa on Wednesday. I had their nasi lemak last week, it was yum as well. My daughter love the BBQ Honey Chicken, definitely come back again
feel like home away from home, having tried most of the local Penang delicacies - Penang Hainanese coffee & teh tarik, Hokkien prawn mee, Penang laksa & even Siam laksa. Filled the last corner of my stomach with the yummy dessert - Bi Ko Moi (black glutinous rice with coconut milk).
Venue: Plenty of free carparks. At the rear entrance (Exit 6) of Coventry Village. Little shop. A few tables but not packed. Not much decoration. Bright and tidy. Self-service corner is beside the frontbdesk. There is a sink for washing hands at the corner. 7/10 Service: Get menu, order, and pay at the front desk. No staff at the front desk sometimes as pretty busy in the kitchen. They're friendly and considerate. Normal waiting time for food. Noodles comes with disposable chopsticks. tap water and serveitte at the self-service counter. 7/10 F&B: Simple menu. Authenric Malaysian food. Normal food presentation and portion. Resonable price. - Friday Special, Penang Nyonya Lam Mee, $16.9: served with very spicy sambal balacan. There were 2 types of noodles (yellow and bee hon), bean sprouts, poached chicken, and 2-3 pawns (be half-cut) --- 7.3/10 - Otak-otak, $9.9/4 sticks: spicy. Good portion --- 7.5/10 - Satay Chicken $3.8/stick+ Lamb, $4.6/stick+ Peanut sauce small $2+ 6 Rice Cubes $2: free condiments when order 5 sticks or more. So, good value for ordering more than 5 sticks of Satay. Succulent meat. Peanut sauce was nice --- 7.5/10 - Tau Foo Fah with Palm Sugar, hot /cold, $5.5: good portion. There are 4 options- white sugar, honey ginger, and longan. But I prefer raw sugar. --- 7.5/10
Absolutely delicious! Wow! What a gem found in Coventry Village in Morley! This restaurant is a bit hard to find as it is near one of the rear entrances. We ordered a good range from here, what an affordable and delicious brunch place! The meat were so juicy and so well complemented by the Satay flavours. You also need to try the silken tofu desert (Tau Foo Fah) - it is so smooth and is perfect to have in summer!
The best satay in perth so far! Rich with flavor and kuah kacang sedap sangat. Ordered tau fu fah as well. So goooddddd! Craving satisfied :)
