Tried their take out menu with beef rice bowl. It was delicious. Will definitely go there to try out other menu items. The environment was nice and cozy. The staff were humble.
The best best turkish in Tokyo, believe me. Ekmek with Mezze? One dream. Also very reasonably priced you will spend 2000 - 3000 per person if your hungry. Ofc you can also go under 2000 if your going with simple sets.
Amazing food. We ate a lot of Greek, Lebanese and Turkish food back in the EU and this is some of the best and it's really reasonable. I'd put up photos of the dolmasi, ekmek and karisik meze but it vanished almost instantly it was so delicious. The falafel were lovely and I had the Taa Kebabi (lamb and vegetables stew) as my main. The food is delicious. Totally recommend it!
About a 10 minute walk away from Yasakuni Shrine is this Turkish restaurant that was pretty good. Portions are larger than the photo makes it look and I couldn’t finish all of my Iskender (sliced döner kebab meat topped with hot tomato sauce over pieces of pita bread with yogurt). There was a large group here and a belly dancer came out too! Not sure if that was just for the large group, or happens every night, but you may luck out and see a free show too.
