The service is good and the restaurant has a Balinese vibe. Their duck is well marinated and fried until very crispy and fragrant. Our order is served with different types of sambal chilli that goes well with our main course. My preference is Sambal Matah, it brings the taste and fragrant to the next level. Their avocado drink is one of the best. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Bebek Bengil in Plaza Indonesia exceeds expectations with its delectable menu and top-notch service. While prices lean slightly towards the higher side, the exquisite flavors and cozy ambiance make it a worthwhile indulgence. The crispy duck is a standout dish, and the attentive staff adds a touch of warmth to the dining experience. A perfect choice for those seeking a delightful culinary adventure in a prime location.
Pricey but quality food with solid vegetarian options. Good food and flavors but value for money is not so great. Particularly good is the vegetarian options. Combined with the ambience, this is a good place for hosting business guest with a relatively quiet location. The restaurant next to this place was notorious for letting smokers camp in a corner just next to Bebek Bengil, causing plenty of second hand smoke to waft to Bebek Bengil. This has now stopped, a very welcome changed for those seeking to savor a meal. Recommended if you are looking for balinese food.
First of all, this restaurant is located in Plaza Indonesia, which contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. I'm usually not a fan of duck, but this experience was different; it tasted great. I ordered the chili duck, which was not too spicy—just right. The duck was tender and cooked to perfection. Overall, it was simply delicious.
Bebek Bengil is located in the corner of Sushi Hiro and Brown Puck Coffee on the 2nd floor of Plaza Indonesia. The place is a little bit hidden. We arrived around 7pm, just after iftar time. It wasn't too crowded. We ordered Bebek Bengil, the crispy duck which contains half a duck, white rice, Balinese vegetables, watermelon and orange slices and sambal. Plastic gloves are also provided for those who want to eat with their hands. For me, the taste was standard and not crispy. The price is quite expensive compared to other duck restaurants.
