The food here is so good. The portion is also big. It’s a place for you to enjoy with family or friends. Their Hainan chicken is so tender and go along so well with ginger sauce. However, the branch here is a bit small but you still can enjoy a good meal.
The food is good and price is reasonable I ordered the traditional food of the day, and we got pumpkin soup for the soup It was reallly good. The soup broth is very thick and fragrant. That’s why it’s called the Soup Restaurant i guess ? The thing that can be improved is really the service. We asked a few questions about the menu but the staff was not really knowledgable about the menu. For example, we asked what type of Kerapu is used for the steam Kerapu and she didnt know or didnt even try to ask the kitchen. We asked what tofu is used for the claypot tofu (issit egg tofu or the standard tofu, she said is standard non- egg tofu, but turned out to be egg tofu) Would recommend more staff especially during festive days like CNY eve to maintain the service quality Traditional Soup of the Day 5/5 Steam Kerapu 3.5/5 Claypot Tofu 4.5/5 Cereal Prawn 4/5 Bayam dengan Telur 3 rasa 3.5 /5 Sayur Pocai Enoki 4/5 Mee Sua Goreng 3.5/5
Unique menu that isn’t available in other brand All dishes are well made with ok portions The soup has traditional herbal taste We ordered plenty and still finish all off The fruit cocktail is not sweet, which is good This restaurant presents healthy and delicious food
Been long time not coming to the resto. Now only left with 1 store at Plaza Indonesia, the rest already closed down. The Samsui Ginger Chicken is still the highlight!
Still one of our all-time favorite Chinese restaurants. Located at 3rd Floor PI. We’ve been coming here for years—both in Indonesia and Singapore—and the food quality has always been consistently great. I usually come outside of peak hours to enjoy the calm atmosphere, and the service is always warm and polite. Even their steamed peanuts appetizer hits the spot! Some standout dishes: - Deep-fried venison (315K, medium) – So good! A rare find and a must-order when it’s available. Rich, savory, a little spicy—packed with flavor - Stir-fried eel with fumak (80K, small) – Leans sweet, but super comforting and tasty. - Mayonnaise prawn (85K, small) – Sad the wasabi mayo version is gone, but this one is still a hit. Crunchy, juicy prawns—so delicious! - Teochew olive oil vegetable (55K, small) – A must-order. Savory, flavorful, and really ties the whole meal together! Sadly, this one dish is quite failed: Hometown tofu in king sauce (60K, small) – The tofu was nice, but the sauce was a bit too salty for my taste. Always ordered chinese tea for neutralize the flavor! I’ve brought so many friends here over the years, and they always end up coming back on their own. Also, recommend trying the Pacamkee chicken too—one of the best!
