It’s a hundred and forty years old restaurant. We went there for dinner as per my husband’s recommendation. The chicken fry masala and mutton curry preparation was good and the price at which they offer is very pocket friendly.But I didn’t like the biryani much may be because I’m a ‘South Indian spicy chicken 65’ biryani fan and the biryani served here was not spicy at all and also missed the flavours. For deserts, instead of caramel custard go for rabdi.

One of the legendary restaurants in town, sitting in the shadow of Bademiyan, but the food wise is definitely a good competition and also value for your money. The place offers a sharing table concept given the crowds that come here for meals. I have met people who stay in the Taj hotel but have come here to this restaurant for lunch. The fried chicken is the most hot selling food on the menu, it comes with a nice fried piece of potato. I also love the tandoori rotis here definitely something you have to try for sure. Mind you the size of the roti is quite big so be mindful while ordering. Beef chill is another recommendation from the menu. This time we tried the beef bhunna and bheja masala and it was delicious. The beef was slightly chewy but the gravy was good. Overall a good place to visit and very pocket friendly.

If in causeway this is a must visit. Been two decades we have been visiting this place and recently after a long time. Renovation looked good! And felt good. We ordered our regular fried chicken (leg piece) comes with a fried potato, chicken soup, paya.bheja masala, roti and caramel custard. What disgusted us is the hair inside the bheja. Didn't look like from the head. There is no point complaining, I doubt they care. We left that dish aside and had the custard instead. Enjoyed it with their traditional readymade icecream & raspberry flavoured drinks. Value for money 6/10

The vintage ambiance and cozy, old-school vibe make dining here special, paired with delicious, authentic kebabs and biryani. Service could be a bit faster, but the food and ambiance are worth it

Visited Bagdadi on a weekday — tables were easily available, but we were slightly disappointed to learn that their signature dishes like Mutton Nihari and Dabba Gosht are served only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We tried: Mutton Bhuna Gosht – flavorful but could have been more tender (3.5/5) Bagdadi Chicken Fry – crisp and well-spiced (3.5/5) Buff Potato & Onion Fry – average, lacked depth in taste (2.5/5) Overall Rating: 3.5/5 – worth a visit for a casual meal and value for money, but go on a weekend.
