I visited the skyscraper during sunset, and the views were absolutely stunning—definitely worth the wait if you manage to get a spot in the front row. However, it was quite crowded, so be prepared for a lot of people. One downside is that you can’t take photos in the Sky Wall area, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, a great experience, but better if you go early to secure a good spot!

This is for sure one of the top family activities in Bangkok. From the cool and very fast elevator up to the breathtaking views from the top. I would recommend buying tickets in advance even if it does not seem to be a must. If nothing else it's one less line to endure. The elevator up has screens as walls and shows animations which made it easier for our otherwise elevator scared daughter. We choose to go in the middle of the day instead of the evening to avoid the crowds. Even if it was on the weekend we just spent a short time waiting in line. At the top the view is really great. They have a bar there and a gift shop one floor below. The glass platform is a scary experience for most people and for people "respectful" of heights a real trial of trust. You need to wear provided shoe covers and cannot bring phones or cameras on the glass. Even if this limits the photo opportunity we were able to take nice pictures. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The experience is not cheap, but for sure worth it.

Visiting the Mahanakhon King Power Skywalk was one of the highlights of my trip to Bangkok! The views from the 78th floor are absolutely breathtaking — you can see the entire city skyline, and the glass floor experience was thrilling. Getting there is super easy: just take the BTS Skytrain to Chong Nonsi Station (Silom Line) — it's right next to the tower. Tickets cost around 880 THB for adults (about 24 USD), and it's open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the last admission at 6:30 PM. I recommend going around sunset to catch both day and night views. Don't miss the rooftop bar either — the cocktails are a bit pricey but totally worth it for the atmosphere and the 360° views. Make sure to bring a light jacket because it can get windy at the top!

I recently visited King Power Mahanakhon, and it was an unforgettable experience! The observation deck offers breathtaking 360 degree views of Bangkok from 314 meters above the city. The glass floor section is thrilling, and the open air rooftop provides an incredible vantage point, especially at sunset. I highly recommend it! ??
