Sadly not up to scratch anymore.
We have been coming to Arik's for 20 years. Authentic and juicy kebabs.  However it was very  disappointing the last 2 times. The chicken kebab meat was recooked on the grill till it was like jerky. Dry and inedible and not much of it. No dripping in sauces either. We barely noticed it had sauce. We only tried the kebabs and were extremely disappointed. They were not cheap and my hubby  threw his in the bin after nearly  breaking his teeth on his double meat chicken kebab. After several  bites of mine I couldn't find any meat! See photo. Very disappointed indeed.

I've been a loyal customer at this kebab shop for 5 years and have always loved the food and service. However, my recent visit was really disappointing. After walking from East Vic Park, I was excited for my kebab but ended up waiting 25 minutes because a new worker forgot to cook my egg. When I asked for a refund, she couldn't help and wouldn't let me speak to the owner. Plus, my kebab wasn't made properly—the wrap wasn't right or heated up correctly. This was so frustrating, especially since I've always had great experiences here. I really hope the owner addresses this situation because I don’t want to see this place lose loyal customers over a new hire who clearly needs more training, especially in customer service.

I had Chili through my Samsun Pide which I didn't ask for. And you can't get a refund through Ubereats. They told me they don't do refunds because the store is not making money
And the manager can't refund

They offered food. I told them, that costs money to buy ingredients for their store to produce food.

She told me the mince meat is cooked with chilli. And then she told me it wasn't
She said they couldn't do a refund because they don't have money

I told them they took my money, so how is it they don't have money.

The store have got my order wrong twice, of me being there for lunch and ordering dinner.

Poor hygiene practices. The girl took our cash, then took the cash of multiple other customers, then started loading the kebab with lettuce using the same hand with the dirty glove. Basic training about swapping gloves after touching non-food items hasn't been done or isn't being practiced/enforced.

Disappointing because we used to love this place but can't ever come back here.
