We had Sri Lankan Rice & Curry and Grilled Cuttlefish, some of our favorite dishes. The Sri Lankan Rice & Curry was absolutely delicious and the portion was good, even if the price is a bit more expensive than at other places, still it was worth it. Unfortunately the Grilled Cuttlefish was tasteless and a tiny portion, only 6 small greasy rings, just fried in oil. That was disappointing and I left the place still a bit hungry.

Had lovely dinner here! Had chicken and prawn curry and both were so tasty, all the little sides were so good. Lovely and friendly hosts too :) make sure you leave your mark on the wall!!

Great service and food... I had the Kottu and Chicken Curry with Rotis... mouthwatering stuff. Washed down with excellent cooling fresh fruit juices. Thanks to the team at Ammehula ☺️

I have been travelling for 1 year non-stop right now and had my best meals in this lovely restaurant! I am starting my tour in sri lanka tomorrow but will end my trip in Negombo, just because of this restaurant.

Amazing first evening in Sri Lanka! Very cozy and authentic place with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Since we had just started our Sri Lanka trip, the owner was incredibly helpful – not only with food recommendations, but also with great local tips and even organizing a Dutch Canal tour for us by phone. A wonderful place to enjoy a great meal and feel warmly welcomed. Highly recommended!
