Jl. Raya Darmo Baru Barat No.85A, Sonokwijenan, Kec. Sukomanunggal, Surabaya, Jawa Timur 60226, Indonesia
One of the great noodles in town. I like the noodle. Even for the big portion is really big. The place is clean, nice for quick dinner. The place is a bit hard to find, since they only have small place. Hopefully in the next future they will have street sign that can be seen easily.
This is a noodle that has an East Indonesian taste. A non halal dish noodle served with sweet pork and crispy pork. Meanwhile, other dish are also delicious. The place is not huge, not clean either. They have plenty of staffs, and the owner are always standby and helpful. The price range is about 35 to 47k, and must try the markisa juice and sarsi badak for the beverages.
Two days after tried Aan Ping Lao (Makassar), I try Aan Ping Lao (Srby). The taste is almost same as Ann Ping Lao Makassar except the BBQ pork is a little bit too salty for me. The big portion option is enough for me.
The place is not too big, only 7 tables available. Kinda hot, because not all AC were turned on. The waiting line is not much and the service is good. I ordered Pangsit Mie Besar Spesial (7/10), Nasi Goreng Merah (7/10), Mie Kwang Tong (6/10, more like tasteless since it's lack of salt✌?). But overall, it's good and worth to try. Check out the opening time first! I added the menu here.
Branch of the Legendary Aan Ping Lao depot of Makassar. They serve a lot more food variants here compared to the one at Makassar where they only serve porridge and noodle. Highly recommend their Noodle, Porridge, and Fried Rice, the difference is mostly only on their toppings. I don't really recommend the bakwan goreng as it is too dough-ey, feels like they put too much flour into it. Service's excellent and the price is very very reasonable.
