Jl. Raya Darmo Permai I No.45 - 47, Pradahkalikendal, Kec. Dukuhpakis, Surabaya, Jawa Timur 60226, Indonesia
Good selection of local cakes called “Kue Basah” and local delicacy. I enjoyed the “Lontong Cap Go Me” or rice cakes with beef and chicken on a coconut milk broth. Beautiful architecture
A restaurant serving Indonesian cuisines with their own twist. They also have wide variety of traditional snacks to try. The foods overall taste great, traditional yet elevated. Recommend as it is very iconic. As for the place, it has indoors, outdoors, and it has 2 floors. It is quite chill to dine in, although it can feel quite stuffy as it is not very spacious. But overall, this is a great option.
This place truly has everything—and I mean everything! I've been here twice, trying different dishes each time, and they absolutely nailed it. The bakso, misua, and fried rice were all fantastic. Make sure to save room for the jajan pasar—they look incredible and taste just as good! It’s not the cheapest spot, and parking can be a hassle, but I’d gladly come back. If you have friends visiting from out of town, this is the perfect place to introduce them to Indonesian cuisine.
Was just visiting and window shopping here. I must say this place is really well decorated. Plenty of olden style jajan pasar and Oleh² too. Overall layout of the place is splendid, bringing back customers back to the olden time. Will find the time to dine here whenever I return to Surabaya ??
What a marvellous way to try all the Indonesian food greatest hits in one place. Wish we could have tried the cooked food too - I was told the tahu telor is the best ? Just as we were leaving the owner came and introduced himself and we had a lovely chat food and history
