2 Chome-15番9号 Sonezaki, Kita Ward, Osaka, 530-0057, Japan
New hotel in a very happening area of Umeda, close to lots of action. The only big issue is there is no car access directly to the hotel. The closest a car can stop is at the entrance of the shopping street, maybe 30-50 meters from the hotel entrance. Do keep in mind if you come by car or have any luggage or mobility issues Very new rooms. Our room was spacious and had lots of floor space. Table/counter space was lacking and we asked for an extra table and a staff carried a small one over quickly (thank you!) There is also a free bath house with rock baths and a cooling room, as well as paid private paths. I assume these facilities are frequented by guests as I did still some quite a few guests at 1230am, slightly before closing time The bath check in process was a bit of a chore, you will end up having to use two lockers and carry two sets of keys. I left my first key in my second locker and realized the second key I carry do not open the rock bath doors Overall a great stay!
I only wished if there are some western breakfast options, other than that everything was great, the staff deserves a special mention with their hospitality. The spa was the best I have ever been to in Japan hundred percent recommended just for the spa. Location wise it’s just steps away from a big transfer hub Umeda, it couldn’t be better. also, the location is in a busy area, I felt safe walking down to the hotel.
The rooms are perfectly minimalist while also being very cosy. The area feels very happening but the hotel still feels very private. The service is friendly and it has a really great spa on the property. Special Mention: We forgot our travel documents and some currency in the safe and left Osaka for Tokyo. We were flying out the next day and had basically given up hope of receiving our stuff in time. The hotel packaged and sent our stuff forward, all accounted for. Really grateful for it!
