This place was a little bit hard to find! It's on the bottom basement floor way to one corner. However, it's so cute, you kind of sit close to the floor and the service is phenomenal. I had my baby with me and they were very accommodating, they had a toys they had ball pits. It was just really family friendly! The food was unique, definitely worth a try. The taste was just okay to me, might be a bit salty for my taste. But, if you want to try something different, this is definitely a good place
The food was served piping hot. Most dishes can omit alliums. Tried out Okonomiyaki - the cabbage was very fresh and sweet, it taste very very nice with the sauce. Takoyaki was very good too, slightly small in size compared to the normal ones we seen out there. But is good bite size and not “floury”. Gyoza is taste well. Tonkotsu Veggie Ramen - is a must try dish. The soup base was very savoury, aftermath not thirsty. Very delicious ?? The seaweed rice wrap w soy meat is ok, can try for an experience ☺️ Overall atmosphere is cosy as the eating place was divided individual rooms, more privacy. 1 con would be have to sit on the floor to eat. Can consider to ask if there were chair/table options. Reservation would be good if want to minimize waiting time ?
It is usually hard to feel completely safe or even have the option to try traditional foods with celiac disease and that are vegan, so I was very happy to find this restaurant! I really appreciate the care that the restaurant owners put into crafting the dishes. The menu lists every ingredient so you can be confident about what you're eating. This is tied as my favorite restaurant in Japan for dining gluten free/vegan! Pros: - Unique food options that I would probably never get to try elsewhere. - Food tasted good to great. What really stood out was the Razin cake- it was one of the best desserts I've ever had. I'm pretty sure it was made entirely fresh when I ordered it. Things to consider: - Food is made to order. Some items might take a while but you know they will be fresh. Just don't expect to eat here in a hurry. - You may need to get the attention of the staff for water refills, further orders, etc. They run a small operation so that's understandable. Perhaps they can leave some water for self service?
Love that there are places like this one! It was nice to try some typical dishes in gluten-free. The restaurant has a funny set up with little (or big rooms) for you to be seated. While we weren’t fully blown away by the food itself, I want to mention that this is the family friendliest restaurant that we visited during our trip in Japan. They have so many toys for kids to be entertained and it was really fabulous for us to be able to have our little girl wandering around and playing while we were eating!
Love that there are vegan versions of popular Japanese food! However, it felt like there could be more protein-based ingredients instead to provide a more complete meal. Nevertheless, it's a great dining place for those curious about Japanese vegan food. One of the lady servers is also very polite and sensitive towards the comfort of the diners. Many thanks for the pleasant dining experience.
