I love this little boutique hotel. Service is awesome. Clean and compact room. Lift available. Good security. Friendly staffs. Strategic location in the old city area of Batavia.

Great location next to Kota Station. Rooms were clean and hot water was good - well worth the price. The receptionist, security and cleaners were very friendly and kind - I lost my phone in Ancol and they helped me contact my friends, very much appreciated.

There were a lot of hotels in the 100-200k range on Google, but this had the best reviews. I can comment that it was quiet, safe, had good wifi, hot showers, and cold AC. A good overall budget choice (depending on current price). If coming from the airport, easiest route is to take the airport train to Duri Station (70k), get off and take a Gojek/Grab to the hotel (15-25k). Walking distance to China district/markets, old Dutch section, and 3 minute walk to major transportation hub. For those on a really tight budget, there are cheaper hotels to the south, but noise may be an issue.

Twin Manggadua is good hotel close to Kota Tua and not too far from Ancol. The room was clean and staff really friendly. I recommend if you want to spend a few nights in the north of Jakarta.

I stayed at this hotel for a week, and I can say that everything suited me perfectly. For the price, it’s a great deal. It’s located close to Old Jakarta, with the train station and long-distance bus routes just a few minutes’ walk away. I was very satisfied — very comfortable stay. The room is tiny, but still fair for the price.
