"We arrived at Taman Fatahillah using a very common mode of transportation in Jakarta, the Bajaj. It was a very interesting experience. The traffic in Jakarta is incredibly busy, with streets packed with vehicles. The square area at Taman Fatahillah was interesting but not too crowded. My family arrived around 5 PM, and there was live music and food stalls around. We tried a rather unique dish, which seemed like crispy rice with eggs and small shrimp, and it was very delicious. Definitely worth a visit

Good experience to re open the history, classic paintings, old furniture, old buildings, all will remind you of our grand grand parents ??

Jakarta Old Town has buildings from the Dutch colonial era. There are many museums that show Indonesian history and culture.

Must visit place for everyone. Nice place to spend some time in the evening. Lots of things to see, artists, music, etc...

As the night went on, more and more people arrived. There were many photo spots with people dressed in Dutch girl or army-themed costumes. There were also colorful, light-up bikes available for rent.
