We loved staying here, we were in unit 6 & we loved this room! The scenery is beautiful, the shops are close by which was very convenient for us when it came to ordering food. We had our puppy with us & our son & pup had a great time. We loved the location, I had to have a medical procedure done in Midland & we needed accommodation that could allow us to have our puppy with us & this was the place. It made life easier. The unit was very clean & tidy with all amenities available. We will definitely be staying here again! & we are looking forward to it! Thank you so much & will be seeing you again ❤️

Stayed here and found the service warm and inviting, accommodating us on every turn. The room was clean and exactly what we needed to relax and refresh after our long drive. Was nice to stay away from the hussel and bussel of Perth while still only a short drive to it if we wanted to partake in activities in the city. Thank you Travellers Rest Motel if we are ever passing through again this will be our go to. Highly recommended!

I wanted somewhere pet friendly for a couple of days break bushwalking with my dog in the hills. This place was perfect. Only 30 minutes from home, the room was spacious, had everything I needed: kitchenette, good shower and a comfy bed. All set on a large area with plenty of bush/garden/ BBQ area and it is right next to the railway hetitage walking track which took us up to Mt Helena, Stoneville and down to Mundaring and Mahogany Creek. The only downside was the traffic noise thst made its way from the GE highway, despite being well set back. Not a deal breaker though. Such a good price and they accommodated my pooch. Will be back to explore other tracks.

Stayed one night during a business trip, found the room to be clean and very well equipped (complete with a small kitchen, dining table, washing machine, bathroom and lounge/bedroom area). The area around the room is brilliant, plenty of space, there’s outdoor seating, barbecues etc. The bed had a reasonably soft mattress but was clean and comfy. There’s no wifi, and no smart TV to stream from your phone/laptop. The only issue I had while staying was noise - the noise from passing road trains etc woke me up several times during the night, this isn’t quite a criticism of the hotel, it’s to be expected while booking a hotel right beside the highway, and I’m just quite a light sleeper. But apart from that it was a pleasant stay.

We had a lovely reset stay her with our dog after the busy Christmas period around Perth as we live in the Pilbara. We received very kind service. The bed was very comfortable in a huge self contained room with a laundry. The grounds are spacious too with lovely bushland to walk out pooch plus a grassed bbq area. The motel is only 15 mins from midland gate where we indulged in a gold class movie or two! We were able to get delicious uber eats from the dragon Chinese restaurant down the hill. We would stay at the travellers rest again. Thanks for a lovely stay. Photo of gooseberry hill look out not far away.
