bed was so uncomfortable. Felt like cardboard on springs. Hallway reeked of smoke. My room smelt like smoke even though it said its no smoking room. The room itself is a good size and clean but I couldnt get over the smell I had to put the fan on high

Very nice hotel in a peaceful area. 10 minutes walk to Dotonbori. The Yasaka shrine is a 5 minute walk from hotel. Rooms are very big compared to Tokyo. They can call taxi for you and also store luggage. Thank you Toho Hotel Namba

Best value hotel in Osaka! Had to book this hotel last minute and I was lucky to find a room while compact in size, was spacious enough to fit a couple large luggage, clean and most important of all, very close to Namba Nankai station for that quick trip to Kansai Airport. The hotel wasn’t hard to find, it’s about ~7-10 minutes walk from Namba Station. I find the surrounding area to be peaceful & quiet, even if it’s near a busy road. Rooms were compact as mentioned, but it was very clean. It is also spacious enough to fit at most two people with large suitcases. There’s toilet & bathroom is actually bigger than most of the standard 3-star Japan hotel rooms and it had a bath tub! My room also had a big window that gave me a view of the front street, - great sunlight in the morning. :) Staff was very helpful when I asked stuff to do around the area and the best way to get to the station - you just really need to walk! Unfortunately, there was no staff around when I had to check-out at ~4:30am (I waited for over 10 minutes and rang the front desk bell) to catch the first train to the airport. Just left my keys and a note on the front desk. The best part of this is its location. It literally near all the great spots and dining options in Namba. For the quality of this hotel & its location, the price of ~US$70 a night is a steal. Overall a 5/5 - would have given this a perfect 5 stars if not for the mishap checking-out but that is totally understandable as it was very early in the morning. Highly recommended and would definitely be back next time I’m in Osaka!

Great hotel, large rooms with huge and comfortable beds, very clean. The hotel is in about 10 minutes walking distance to Namba Station and Dotonbori. I can definitely recommend staying here

This hotel is conveniently located near Kinosaki Onsen Station, with the entrance accessible through the café at the front. I stayed for two nights and would say the experience was generally decent. However, elderly guests might find it challenging to climb the steep stairs leading to the rooms. The bed was quite soft, which made it difficult for me to lift myself up. Those who prefer firm mattresses may find it less comfortable. Also, take some time to familiarise yourself with the air-conditioning remote control — for room that is windowless, and not being able to adjust the aircon properly may cause discomfort in the confined space.
