I stayed at RuMa Hotel and Residences in Kuala Lumpur for the first time from 6th to 9th April 2025. it was an incredible experience. My room had a stunning view of the Petronas Towers, which made the stay even more memorable. The layout of the room was thoughtful and elegant, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows and the option of blackout curtains or stylish blinds for total comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast at the restaurant was a real highlight - a wide variety of delicious options, both local and international. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere in the heart of KL.

I have been to some 5-star hotels around KL which are widely known for the hotel branding, but nothing compare to this one! from arrival to departure, everything was top notch. in fact, it’s rarely to find hotels with complimentary snacks and drinks for every room too. the whole concept of this hotel is superb, and their staffs? which were the strongest reason for my repeat. They were so well trained, poised and professional. Please consider staying here if you have a thought of staying in KL.

From check-in to check-out, our stay at The Ruma was honestly one of the best we’ve had in KL. We were greeted with a super refreshing asam boi carbonated drink. It was so sedap! Balqis helped us with check-in and our spa booking, and she was just the sweetest person. The room was huge, and we loved that the minibar was free and restocked every day. By the second day, the housekeeping team noticed we liked having water by the bed, so they started placing two bottles and slippers on each side. It was such a thoughtful touch! Breakfast was amazing too with a great variety, everything tasted so good. Ask for the teh tarik, one cup is definitely not enough. The staff were all super friendly and efficient in their roles. Special mention to the two staff - a very kind looking lady and gentleman (sorry didn’t catch your names) manning the counter outside the restaurant. The location is perfect because it’s not on the busy main streets, so no traffic issues when driving in or out. Ikyk what KL traffic is like. Hotel is just a 5-minute walk to Pavilion and 10 minutes to KLCC through the convention center underpass. Felt so sad to leave, but we’ll 100% be back. The Ruma really knows how to make guests feel special.

We had such a great stay at The RuMa during our time in Kuala Lumpur. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome — everyone was genuinely kind, helpful, and professional. It really felt like they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel itself is beautiful and super relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a really nice, calming vibe. We loved the little touches throughout the stay that made it feel special, not just another hotel. The pool area was a great spot to unwind, and the breakfast was honestly one of the best we’ve had at a hotel. Overall, it was such a smooth and enjoyable experience, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in KL. Highly recommend The RuMa if you’re looking for a place that’s both stylish and welcoming.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service. Everything you want in a 5 star hotel. Rooms are large. Views are great. Decor is a fusion of colonial with large doses of Asian influence. It really helps with the whole holiday / get away vibe. Love it and highly recommend it.
