Perfect hotel to stay if you are in Colombo. The room size was small but it was clean so I did not had any problem. The restaurants are very nearby, you just have to walk. Honestly, after going through the reviews, I was not expecting much but I was very happy when I got there as the room was clean and the manager was helpful. They greeted us with welcome drinks and few free snacks like chips and biscuits were provided in the room. Great hotel !!

The Residence is a great place to stay. It is central with every place of interest within easy reach. Plenty of shops and Restaurants around including a Shopping Mall with a food court. The staff are all very helpful and will do all they can to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable.

ALWAYS A FANTASTIC STAY Prior to making the reservation for the first time with The Residence, I stayed in two properties in Colombo. I would say they fall under the same category but no way they could come closer to the fantastic The Residence by any means. From the humble and friendly security officer to the smiling and ever-helpful front office agent Imdad to the agent who looks after the safety of all the guests from sunset to sunrise - Imran, this place is a truly Home Away From Home. Imdad makes the effort to call me to confirm the check-in time on the day of the arrival, ensuring that I get the room of my choice, meeting my safety requirements. This is a well-managed property that meets everything that you are looking for from a hotel at the heart of Colombo. Whether you are solo traveler, a couple or a family, this is the place to be. Continue to be fabulous team!

Had a great short stay at this hotel. Imran and Imdad were very helpful and accomodating. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Will recommend others to stay here as well since it's a very convenient location within Colombo.
