We’ve visited Bangkok before but this was our first time staying at The Peninsula Bangkok—and it’s easily the best hotel we’ve experienced so far. For the price, what you get is a truly luxurious stay. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort—it’s not overdone, just refined and proper. In comparison to other high-end hotels in Bangkok, some have become a bit too busy, with too many moving parts and a price tag that doesn’t quite match the experience anymore. The Peninsula, on the other hand, delivers exceptional service, a beautiful atmosphere, and a seamless experience from start to finish. The pool is a personal favorite, offering a relaxing escape. Overall, The Peninsula Bangkok offers true luxury without excess. We’ll definitely be back.
Great hotel. Excellent service and rooms are very comfortable. They can help with anything you need and are super accommodating. One thing I’d say is if you need a lot of plugs bring a power strip, there are some plugs and a charging port in the desk and nightstand but less than in what I’d say a new hotel has. It has a luxury feel from a little time ago, hardwood decor etc. But very nice hotel with great amenities, views, service.
My stay at The Peninsula Bangkok was truly unforgettable. The service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The room was elegant and comfortable, with stunning views of the Chao Phraya River. Some may say it’s away from the hustles and bustles of the central Bangkok, but it was wonderful to come back here to rest in open space. I especially enjoyed the beautiful riverside pool—perfect for relaxing after a day in the city—and the buffet breakfast and dinner, which were both delicious and full of variety. This hotel combines luxury, comfort, and exceptional hospitality. True luxury is when you spend the money (I know not cheap) you feel it was money well spent.
One of the best-maintained old luxury hotels—every system, amenity, and room is exceptionally well cared for. Their service is always top-notch. The only downside is the lack of a dedicated kids' club. However, they do offer wellness activities that children can join. For my daughter, enjoying the pool and floating along the river on the shuttle boat was more than enough. The highlights of this hotel are the breakfast and the massage services. The breakfast offers a wide variety of healthy options alongside all the classic dishes you'd expect from a top-tier hotel. As for the massages, they have a wide range of treatments to choose from, and every one of them is worth trying. The location is also excellent—they provide a shuttle boat service to IconSiam, Sathorn Pier, and other nearby hotels
Me and my family were very looking forward to our vacation at the Peninsula Bangkok and we were not disappointed. From the start, we were upgraded to a balcony room at high floor, the view of the Chao Phraya River was impressive. What was the most memorable is the impeccable service though. The attention to details of the room keeping team really elevated the stay to another level. We also participated in a complimentary trip exploring the neighbourbood which offered a new experience to us. The three night stay was a unforgettable memory to us. I Pretty sure we will return one day.
