Shout-out to Seigo Morishita for getting us into restaurants we couldn’t book ourselves and keeping everything on schedule. We appreciate you ? The hotel sits in a convenient spot and offers an excellent public bath; staff were attentive, the food was good, and the blackout option in the room worked perfectly. On the downside, both the rooms and the gym are very small, there’s nowhere to unpack or hang clothes, and our room’s frosted windows left us without a view, though they did open a little for fresh air. It’s a solid choice if you value location, service, and the bath, but be ready for compact spaces.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance of two different subway lines. Easy to access from Kyoto station with a quick line transfer then a 3 minute walk. Lots of attractions nearby. Great happy hour in the lobby with sake and snacks. Highly recommend this hotel.
