Hi. I stayed here for 3d2n. Despite all the google review that i read online, i personally find that this hotel is beyond my expectation :))) I planned to stay in sakura/ suite but it was fully booked thus stayed we stayed at groovy king which was so huge and exceptionally comfortable despite it being so reasonably priced! I really love the vibe, huge bed, the super comfy pillow and comforter. The tv screen was big (with lots of options netflix prime movie etc) and i had plenty of windows in the room (4in total) making the room extra bright as rays of sun shines into it (lurve). The bathroom was super clean and all the amenities provided were sufficient Red pool was the main attraction with great view. I love that this hotel had studio for yoga however the sessions were limited. Despite staying for 3 days i couldnt get into one :( The lounge, the “mini painting gallery” on the second floor is my fav. I spent my early morning lepak-ing there. I would give 5 stars however the breakfast was a bit meh to me. Had breakfast in transit on my last day, and the option were very limited. Nevertheless, i personally think it was acceptable as it only cost rm21/pax. The ala carte dinner here wasssss amazing! The food were scrumptious (we had chicken chop, grilled lamb homemade mushroom soup). Overall the staffs were friendly and approachable. The public toilet at the hotel were very clean. They even provite self laundry on the 2nd floor which to me it was really thoughtful I love and enjoyed my stay here in steg hotel. Would i recommend it? Yess! But pls have your breakfast elsewhere ?
I had an excellent stay at STEG Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. What truly made the experience memorable was the outstanding service from Iman, a very helpful and professional staff member. He went above and beyond to ensure my stay was smooth, offering assistance and thoughtful recommendations throughout. His genuine hospitality made a real difference. Highly recommend this hotel — and special thanks to Iman for his exceptional service!
The hotel offered a comfortable stay and the view was pleasant. However, I was quite disappointed to find that the room did not match the description — it claimed to offer a view of the KLCC, yet none was visible from my window. For a 4-star establishment, I also expected basic amenities such as complimentary bottled water, but none were provided. Instead, I had to walk a considerable distance from my room just to access drinking water. Additionally, the bathroom door was faulty and difficult to close, which affected the overall convenience of my stay. The service, unfortunately, lacked warmth and professionalism, as the staff were not particularly welcoming. On a positive note, the hotel environment was clean, well-maintained, and pleasantly scented, which did add some comfort to the experience.
The hotel is beautiful, the room are clean. They provide iron and water filter at the coridor, but we can request iron in the room. Lots of restaurants outside the hotel. In front of the hotel, it has nice malay food restaurants and a pizza cafe too.. but hotel parking only has valet parking in front of the hotel
