Room were more spacious than previous hotels I have stayed at in Japan. I found the bed to be a bit hard for my taste. Would not eat breakfast here, as it was quite bland. Room cleaning was not done when you out up the sign for it (however, there was information that room cleaning might not be prioritized). There were always people in reception, but it seemed to be a bit inefficient - but they were as helpful as they could with the language barrier. Good location.

The double room was spacious for a solo traveller. It’s neat and got what you’ll ever need in an accommodation. However, you need to request a mirror for the vanity table. The staffs were very helpful and accommodating. Answered my questions as I tend to ask a lot of questions. It’s walkable going to nishikihi market/ gion area and bustops. Lovely and quiet location with nearby convenience stores. There were lots of bicycle rentals and Luup locations too as it was near the river.

Solid basic spot! Very friendly staff - we were easily able to leave bags behind to explore the city. Also easy to do laundry. Pretty much amazing for the price! Would come again
