I had my yoga retreat at Pangkor Laut Resort last week, and it was an incredible experience. The team provided excellent support, ensuring that everything was arranged according to our needs. We stayed in the Hill Villa, which was spacious, comfortable, and offered a beautiful sea view. The dining experience was fantastic—we tried different restaurants, and every meal was delicious. Breakfast had a decent variety of options, making it a great start to the day. Overall, the resort provided the perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating retreat. Highly recommended!

A little piece of paradise! The private island is perfect for special occasions. Kudos to the management they have developed only a small part of the island and left the rest of it as pristine as possible. We stayed in the spa village among other things it was a great plus as kids are not allowed on this part of the resort. While staying here one must sign up for a spa treat. We signed up for the Malay massage and it was an experience in itself! The various baths and well trained masseuses make it a perfect package. Very professionally operated. Emerald bay is perfect for a swim and food at Chapman's bar is excellent. Uncle lim's kitchen is a must visit while staying here. People make the place even better, excellent staff right from the reservation desk on main land to everyone at the resort. Special shoutout to Mr Segar and Mr Mages (Maheswaran) for making our stay special. Pangkor is a must visit.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ms Indera (at the jetty) and Mr. Paul at the reception of the Resort, who ensured a smooth check-in and made us feel instantly at home. Our baggage were well handled from the moment we reached the jetty till the end of the trip. We stayed at the Spa Villa, and it was nothing short of breathtaking—serene, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature. Waking up to the sound of waves and sightings of hornbills flying while we had out lunch each day was magical! Seeing a hornbill up close was truly an experience i would always remember. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Vije, who went above and beyond to make our dining experiences at Chapman’s Bar and Uncle Lim’s Kitchen extra special. His friendly and attentive service really stood out. Mr. Mages at Feast Village was equally wonderful—always warm, courteous, and made sure we were well looked after during breakfast and dinner. A special shout-out to Chef Ali, whose meals were a highlight of our trip. The tender mutton served at Feast Village on our first night was absolutely outstanding—rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. Every dish that followed lived up to that amazing standard. We also greatly appreciated Ms. Ivy, whose care during check-in ensured our stay was comfortable and memorable. Every moment on the island—from the impeccable service to the natural beauty—was perfect. We highly recommend Pangkor Laut Resort to anyone looking for a luxurious escape with outstanding hospitality. Don’t miss the Spa Villas, the amazing hornbill sightings, and of course, the unforgettable meals!

The perfect relaxing retreat. The staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming (especially our host Paul), and the resort itself is absolutely gorgeous! Really recommend availing of the spa facilities to complete the stress-relieving experience that Pangkor Laut offers.

It exceeded all expectations. First off, the resort itself is incredibly beautiful and well-maintained for being so old. It has reached the age where some of the dated materials feel charming. But mostly, it was the staff that made it such a wonderful weekend. Adnyana at the restaurant was full of joy. Wayne, the manager, was very helpful with suggestions. Chef Ali was so kind to personally show my life around the dinner options to ensure her dietary allergy was safe. Albeiert arranged for a special birthday cake song. And on and on. We have lived in Malaysia for 18 months and this was our favorite experience and favorite meal in the country so far. The spa with all the bath rituals before the massage was even the best we had experienced in the entire world. Amazing!
