An absolutely amazing hotel when it comes to luxury and comfort! The upgrade to the executive level is highly recommended — you get to enjoy an extensive breakfast, plus all-day access to a delicious snack buffet and drinks. The rooms are incredibly spacious and luxurious, and the overall design and atmosphere of the hotel are simply stunning. On top of that, the staff are exceptionally friendly and service-oriented, which truly elevates the entire experience. Without a doubt, I would return in a heartbeat!

From Zhong Peishan (1124):- Palais de Chine truly impressed me during my recent stay. From the moment I arrived, the executive assistant manager Mr CJ's warm and helpful demeanor made me feel incredibly welcome. Their attentiveness really stood out and enhanced my overall experience. The room itself was a study in elegance. The thoughtful design created a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere, making it a true pleasure to return to after a day of exploring. However, the highlight for me was undoubtedly the breakfast buffet extending until noon. As someone who appreciates a leisurely start to the day, this was an absolute delight. The quality and variety of the offerings were exceptional, and being able to enjoy it at my own pace was a real treat. Overall, Palais de Chine offers a refined and hospitable experience. The combination of elegant design, a remarkably helpful executive assistant manager, and the wonderfully convenient breakfast hours makes it a hotel I would highly recommend and certainly consider staying at again.

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days and had the opportunity to experience two different room types. My first room was a spacious Superior Family Room with two queen beds (sorry not sure of the category name) and a stunning city view from the front side of the hotel. I especially enjoyed sitting by the large window while working on my laptop—it made work feel peaceful and pleasant. It was better than clouded coffee shop. The bathroom was equipped with a lovely bathtub, which was a great way to relax after a long day. Midway through my stay, I moved to a smaller room with one queen bed. While this room was about half the size of the first, it had a more private layout, with the bathroom separated from the sleeping area. This second room also had a balcony facing a nearby apartment building, so I usually kept the curtains closed for privacy. However, the balcony was large enough for me to do my morning yoga, which was a nice bonus since there wasn’t enough space inside the room for that. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet—especially the salad bar. It offered the most variety I’ve ever seen in a hotel, with fresh, healthy options that made breakfast something to look forward to every day. I also attended a banquet at the hotel during my stay, and the entire course meal was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor—an impressive culinary experience that made the evening feel very special. The staff were friendly and welcoming at the front desk whenever I returned to the hotel. I noticed the Director of Marketing and all managers were engaging with guests, which gave a nice personal touch. While the service was generally good, I did stay for 10 days, and no one really acknowledged me as a returning guest at breakfast, even though I saw the same team daily. A small detail, but one that could enhance the experience. The restaurant was too chilled that my coffee gets cold so fast. The location is excellent—centrally located in Taipei, with direct access to the MRT station. It was easy to walk to restaurants, shopping malls, and nearby sightseeing spots. A great base for exploring the city. Another thoughtful feature was the refillable glass bottles provided in the room, which could be filled with still or sparkling water from the hotel’s water stations—environmentally friendly and very convenient. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for both short visits and extended stays in Taipei.

Clean and convenient. To me these are the 2 most important things I will consider for my hotel stay. 10/10 for those. On top of that, staff are very friendly and helpful. The vampire castle theme is to my likings too (but that is personal). Recommended.
