Went for level 1 to level 3 floors of exhibitions. Showcasing rich cultures of Taiwan with audio visual details of its history and journey. Washrooms are easily accessible and floors can be accessed by stairs or lift. Air conditioned museum. Entrance fee of $30 NTD Taiwan dollars for foreigners payment from counters prior entry. Souvenir shops near exits of museums. Would recommend taking a scroll in this museum for tourists.

In my opinion, it’s a cool museum. They exhibit fossils of some prehistoric mammals, along with many displays of animals that still exist today. There are also interesting artifacts related to Taiwan's history and some cool statues throughout the museum. The layout is also nice and easy to explore. I recommend visiting on weekdays to avoid the crowds. The admission price is very reasonable too—$30 for adults and $15 for students.

National Taiwan Museum is a must-see when you’re in Taipei. Although it is not free (the ticket is worth NTD 150), the cultural immersion will give you more than what you’ve expect in Taiwan. From its historical story, endemic floral and fauna (plus insects), the Taiwanese colorful lineage - these are the exciting information you will experience upon entering the museum. It also has rest rooms from every corner. Just book your ticket early, its last call is until 4:30PM only.

No need to buy tickets in advance and there is even student discount on entry prices, lovely museum and staff around the premises. Really recommend stopping by and can see why some people would spent up to half a day here.
