I cannot recommend Otoromiro Hotel enough! Book now and be as overcome with with their hospitality, generosity, and warmth as I have been. The hotel is dog friendly and offers a Dog’s Menu! *gasp of elation* The Balcony King room is spacious, accommodating, and offers a gorgeous bay view from the balcony. I sincerely appreciated the water bottle and glasses available in the room for us! The tea and coffee station with kettle, sugar, and milk is a lovely touch. The amenities are abundant! Towels AND robes. Shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the showers. A heated pool. Two large balconies with amazing views of the bay. A restaurant and bar onsite. Ros, who checked us in, was friendly, hospitable, and patient with us. We booked last minute, and she made us feel at ease after a long day of travel. Thank you, Ros, for your kindness, hospitality, and patience! Otoromiro Hotel, thank you for offering dog friendly, clean rooms with a generous amount of amenities to show your patrons you care! I can’t wait to stay again and again!

A belated review after an excellent visit for a family lunch and double birthday celebration on Boxing Day 2024. We had excellent service and hospitality and great meals. They were happy to look after and serve my two homemade birthday cakes. They took them away to cut them and plated them up beautifully. Great location and views. We enjoyed our lunch in the snug. Thank you so much!!

Everything about this spot it 5 stars. Best fish and chips in Christchurch. So beautiful to sit in the garden on a sunny day.
