Stayed here December 2024. Honestly amazing. Al thought room service is only every four days it was no issue at all. It’s not hard to clean a room yourself. The room I had with two beds was amazing. So clean, modern and spacious. There was a boiler and fridge in room. And microwave downstairs. As well as laundry. But I didn’t use it so can’t comment. So nice and quiet. And i felt very cozy and safe. I’m an introvert so this was perfect. All receptionists were amazing, so kind and lovely. I can see some rude people in the review section upset about them not being able to speak English but they don’t owe that to anyone. We are in a foreign country with not many English speakers so I don’t know what people would except coming here. Despite this every worker here was so kind and made every attempt to understand and were so considerate. The hotel is very close to bus stop and Kyoto station is 1 bus away. If you are looking for a quite, modern affordable place to stay with close location to Kyoto station I highly recommend this hotel 100%. This was my first time in Japan and this hotel made the experience amazing. The bathroom was a bit tight but that’s expected. Highly recommend.

The photos and reviews online doesn't do it justice. It passed my expectations by miles. Very clean, comfy, calm, accessible and in close proximity to the attractions. Staff are very polite and eager to help. It's one of the few pleces where I was more than satisfied with level of detail regarding higiene. Thanks to the establishment for their hospitality.

We had a great stay at this hotel. While the rooms were slightly small, they felt spacious compared to our stay in Tokyo, and everything functioned perfectly, including the TV. The hotel offers a convenient luggage storage service for early arrivals or those with plans after checkout, which we found very useful. Its location is excellent, with plenty of dining options in every direction, and both Lawson and FamilyMart are less than a five-minute walk away. The hotel is secure late at night, and even when no staff were present, we had seamless access with a provided PIN code. We made full use of this, and the convenience was a great plus. It’s also very close to Nijo Castle, making sightseeing effortless. The staff were always helpful, answering our questions and assisting us immediately. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we’d highly recommend it!

Check-in is self-service. Although the bar doesn’t offer much, the room is very spacious and clean. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the subway station, but still quite manageable. During the off-season, this hotel offers excellent value for money.
