I was really craving for Indian food. I was a bit doubtful about this place because of some reviews written by other people. However, I can confirm that the food was very good and ambience was great. I have lived in Tamil Nadu for five years so I know how authentic Tamil food is supposed to taste like and the food was close to perfect.
A Hidden Gem for North Indian Food Lovers in Kyoto! After three years away from Sri Lanka, I was seriously craving authentic North Indian flavors—especially a good masala dosa and rasam. Today, I finally found the perfect spot right here in Kyoto, Japan! Tucked away in the heart of the city, this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we stepped in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. The decor, the aroma, and even the background music playing Tamil songs—it all transported me straight back to a cozy Tamil restaurant in Sri Lanka. The food? Absolutely incredible. The masala dosa was perfectly crisp with a flavorful filling, and the rasam was just the way I remembered—comforting, spicy, and soul-warming. It’s been a long time since I’ve had food that brought back such strong memories, and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re in Kyoto and craving authentic North Indian cuisine with a Tamil twist, this place is a must-visit. I’d rate the food 100 out of 100—no exaggeration!
