We had a wonderful stay at Liu Men Hotel Melaka, which beautifully embraces the charm of Peranakan heritage. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and thoughtful services provided. The hotel offers complimentary afternoon tea and coffee, a delightful semi-buffet breakfast, and evening desserts—each adding a special touch to our experience. One standout feature was the personalized pillow selection, allowing us to choose the perfect firmness for a comfortable night’s sleep. As honeymooners, we were pleasantly surprised to find our bed decorated with roses—a lovely and romantic gesture that made our stay even more memorable. The hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions, and the convenience of private parking was a bonus. Overall, Liu Men Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and luxurious stay in Melaka!

Their kindness and attentiveness made us feel not just like guests, but like family. Walking into our room was a beautiful surprise—the thoughtful decorations to commemorate our anniversary, along with complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea, made us feel cherished and pampered. It was evident that every detail was prepared with love and care. What touched us most was the welcoming card from the hotel manager, promising that Liu Men would feel like home. And true to those words, it did. There was a warmth in the atmosphere, a sincerity in the service, and a sense of belonging that lingered long after we left. Liu Men is more than just a hotel—it’s a place filled with heart and soul. And just like home, it’s a place we long to return to. Thank you for the wonderful memories. We will be back.

You just feel like being transported to the grand old world as you enter the hotel. The Peranakan decor just brings the charm of the amazing heritage with intricate tiles, wooden door, etc. The hotel says you are at a “home away from home.” It certainly is with the attentive and helpful staff with no request being denied. It is also a pampering stay with snacks and drinks stocked in your room. You also get free afternoon tea albeit just a decent one. There is also a beautifully designed tote bag for you to use (though you cannot take it home for free). Also, remember to ask for the Ala carte menu if you have breakfast. Overall, Liu Men is a solid hotel with a wonderful tribute to the Peranakan heritage.

I wish I could give 5 stars as I love the hotel aesthetic and design so much. The bed was comfortable with nice amenities. The staffs are also very polite and helpful. But the rooms could have come with better noise insulation. There was a lot going on the whole night that keep waking us… from vehicle bustling, early morning prayer, Chinese opera music and so on. Ear plugs was provided as part of amenities but I just don’t like using them while sleeping. Love everything except for the noise

We had a wonderful experience in this old world charm of a hotel. The Jebat room was excellent. Bed was so comfy. Loved the bathroom decor and the private balcony.All the staff were so friendly and helpful always ready to help us with a smile.
