Terrific experience at Intercontinental in Auckland! The location was excellent, especially being a cruise ship passenger. It’s about a 1 minute walk down the dock on/off the cruise ship. There are also a ton of restaurants and shops along the waterfront, which make it the perfect location for anyone looking to stay in a central location in downtown Auckland. The hop on, hop off bus first pick-up location is a 1 minute walk down the nearby square. The room was modern, sleek and clean. Would absolutely stay again!

I stayed on both sides of the hotel. Although the windows were double-glazed, we could still hear traffic noise, particularly on Friday night. The west side was quieter than the east. The room was spacious, and the service was excellent. As a young traveler, I would suggest that the food served in the club lounge could be healthier, with less processed food and baked goods, and more fresh options.

Stayed here as a birthday treat for myself and it was amazing! Staff were super friendly, and the room was spotless and cozy. The large bathtub was perfect for relaxing and the soundbar connected to the bath area made it even better. Loved soaking in warm water with my favorite music playing. Bed was comfy, the room was quiet, and overall it felt like a perfect little escape. Would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental Auckland. It is located right on Queen Street with the view of the harbor and easy access to restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping. The room was large and soundproofed. Friendly and caring staff. Breakfast buffet was good with interesting and delicious options. The onsite restaurant offers delicious Mediterranean cuisine. This hotel doesn’t have the traditional hotel driveways. The Grab driver had to drop us off along the curbed sidewalk. One minor complaint… the porter was extremely helpful with our luggage when we first arrived but offered no assistance during our departure! Overall, excellent value and uphold the Intercontinental hotels’ superior standard. We will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Bed, pillows, and duvet were phenomenal. We had a room with a great harbour view. Cleaning was sub-par the first couple days of our stay, but afterwards was better. The breakfast looks like it has changed recently from past pictures of buffet offer, but the quality of food was top tier. The location couldn’t be better! Staff were beyond friendly and helpful!!
