We really loved our stay at Hotel Roan! The service was excellent, staff were so helpful and recommended activities for us to do in the area. The onsen is currently not active but the private bath is lovely, a stone pool in an outdoor setting, you can relax after skiing while watching the snow fall. Food was excellent using produce from the area - wild boar, tofu, trout. A hidden gem off the beaten path, highly recommend!

Our family ski trip to Ichirino Onsen Roan was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and provided exceptional service throughout our stay. They were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, always making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will come again!

Due to a minor accident, we arrived at the hotel quite late. Since we had booked a half-board package, we informed the hotel of our estimated arrival time so they could prepare our dinner on time. The staff were very kind and helpful. We also met a lady from Taiwan who prepared our meals and enjoyed chatting with us. If you are planning to visit Kanazawa, we highly recommend staying here for a night with meals.

Great Service, really friendly personal, Great Location, Really good and traditional food. You can ask the hotel to get you a taxi from Kanazawa for easy access even without a car.

The location is great, It is right next to the ski field and is very local so there is no lift lines. Private onsen is also available for free, all you need is to book at the reception. The food was very authentic and great.
