📍 Gotemba Premium Outlets 御殿場プレミアム・アウトレット @ Shizuoka, Japan 🇯🇵 We visited Gotemba Premium Outlets on 19 November 2025, and even though I’m not a big fan of shopping, the visit was surprisingly pleasant. The outlet is spacious, clean, and very well-organised, with wide walkways, rest areas, cafés, and plenty of food options. The mall is separated into three main zones — West Zone, East Zone, and Hill Zone — each offering different brands and experiences. The layout is easy to navigate, and the walk between zones is comfortable, with clear signage throughout. There are plenty of brands to browse, including sportswear, outdoor gear, fashion, lifestyle goods, cosmetics, and premium labels. Sizes were widely available, which is convenient for travellers. Families will appreciate the LEGO store, as well as several kids’ wear shops. It’s also a good place to explore Japan-made brands like Onitsuka (Onitsuka Tiger). The parking lot is huge and well-managed, making arrival and departure smooth. Although the outlet is known for its beautiful Mount Fuji views, the weather was cloudy during our visit, so we were unable to see Fuji this time. A large, organised outlet divided into West, East, and Hill Zones — offering plenty of brands, kids’ stores, LEGO, Japan-made Onitsuka, and a huge parking area. Enjoyable even for non-shoppers. 🛍️⛅✨
This mall is one of the best outlet malls. It’s huge with more than two hundred stores including luxury brands. The luxury brands are a lot cheaper than other outlets which is why this mall is so popular. Since the mall is huge, I’d recommend getting a map for your shopping direction. I would say one day is not enough for this mall. Moreover, there is an amazing view of Mount Fuji. You can see it clearly from the mall. There is a lot of parking if you plan to drive there. It was easy to find a parking spot even though I got there in the afternoon.
A great shopping destination with an amazing view of Mount Fuji on a clear day. There are plenty of shops with a wide variety of brands, and it’s easy to spend half a day here without feeling rushed. The outlet is spacious and well laid out, making it comfortable to walk around while shopping. Overall, a nice balance of shopping, dining, and scenery. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and want to shop with a Mt Fuji backdrop. 🗻🛍️
Not just an outlet, it’s an adventure! I first visited here back in 2012, and I was not impressed. 14 years later, I am blown away by how much has changed. I originally plan to get a couple of items then leave but I found myself staying a full 6 hours. The variety of stores, restaurants, amenities and general amusement here is great. Yes it is out of way of most things, but a worthwhile stop in the area.
Sports wear and Luxury brands are the most attractive plus great view here!!! HOKA: best price start from ¥10,000 PUMA: I got 1 running shoe ¥3,200 Paul Smith: Love this brand then got 5 items (Laptop bag, 3 Tshirts, Trouser and scraf) only ¥92,000 Gucci: Men shoe ¥77,000 still thinking but not bye 555 😂
