95 Cheongpa-ro 20-gil, Yongsan District, Seoul, South Korea
Nice hotel. The iPark mall is interconnected and so it's extremely easy to shop as it has almost all known clothing stores inclusive of inexpensive and expensive ones, Olive Young store, Juno salon and the Yongsan station is just beneath the mall. The room is spacious and all toiletries are provided except toothpaste and toothbrush. Iron box is available on request. Housekeeping needs improvement as the floor is usually not cleaned. The hotel is always teeming with guests and the Novotel hotel is within the same premises along with a Casino. Front desk speaks English but it's sometimes difficult to make them understand. If you are coming from Japan, they might be seem very less cordial than the Japanese. I couldn't try the breakfast spread due to my health but heard from others it was extensive inclusive of local and continental cuisines. The location is central and taxis are available at such inexpensive rates!
Staff were super friendly and nice, right from front office to housekeeping - despite language barrier with the housekeeping staff. Check in and out was a breeze. Laura from Front Office was trying to get my invoice formatted nicely because the company name couldn't be printed out properly - I needed the invoice as this was a work trip. Appreciate the effort! Gotta add, location wise was okay too. At least it didn't take me 2 whole hours to the airport by car during peak hour, unlike another stay I had in Myeongdong.
I touched down early morning in Seoul and only expected check in at 3pm. However, Ms Rose Park gave me a pleasant surprise and said I could check in early without no extra charge! 5 hours earlier, amazing! Thank you so much Ms Park for your great service, this simple gesture has made me a fan of ibis Styles, 5 star service indeed! Great job! Room was clean and functional. The body wash smells really good!
