Amazing location, friendly multilingual staff, comfortable rooms that are bigger than most places in Kyoto. Each room has a table and chair and has very fast and stable internet, making it very suitable for remote workers as well. The bed was softer than most places in Japan (ideal for western travelers) and the soundproofing was great as well. I highly recommend this hotel for stays in Kyoto!

I felt so at home. This is hands down my favorite hotel stay in Japan/Kyoto. The room is very spacious (probably the most out of any place I've stayed at) and has everything you need with a small kitchen sink, washer, and a drying room in the shower. The staff here really makes you feel like family. The owner was soooo sweet. Our luggage came a day after our check in date and the owner ran after us to let us know after we had stepped out of the hotel and asked if he could bring it to our luggage up to our room. I'm going to miss this spot. I love that we can just turn into the Nishki market in less than 5 minutes. If I ever return to Kyoto I will definitely stay here again.

You can tell this hotel is very well kept up and everyone who works there is so sweet and nice! We stayed here for 4 nights and it was our favorite hotel in Japan! The location was perfect as well all the shopping areas were nearby and subway stations as well! The rooms were spacious and very clean! Loved it here!

This hotel is such a wonderful place to stay at! Location is so close to everything especially Nishiki market and other stores. The front desk people are amazing to deal with and they even assist with calling places for reservation and will assist you with anything you need. I think he was the owner but he helped me walk across the street to see if the nail salon was the correct place for me! The room is super clean and has all the essentials you need. Such a lovely hotel and would recommend to anyone ?

Loved everything about this hotel. The staff were amazing, the hotel was spotless, and the location was superb, quiet yet convenient. Having a washing machine and a way to dry our clothes was a huge bonus, especially as we’re traveling through Japan for three weeks. We’d definitely come back!
