The hotel room is very clean and within walking distance of a major train station and bus stop. This hotel is suitable for long stays as it offers coin laundry facilities, which are not commonly found in hotels in Kyoto. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the lobby provides unlimited coffee and hot water, saving us a lot of time. Highly recommended to everyone!

We had a great time at this Inn! The room was very clean with comfortable beds and amenities. The location was good with subway and bus options very close by. The only downside was their hotel sento doesn’t allow tattoos. As this is an expected cultural thing, we were not concerned and were able to experience that elsewhere. The front desk staff were all amazing and deserve praise for their friendly efficiency. I’d like to especially compliment Miharu, who was kind enough to call a hotel we had booked for later in our trip to confirm they accepted luggage forwarding. She also then agreed to fill out the luggage forwarding form from the 711, to make sure the address was correctly written in Japanese. She made a big difference to our trip and we really appreciate her. She did such a good job representing the hotel’s great hospitality!

Highly Recommended!!! Located in a good location near Shijo - Omiya Station, very convenient to reach many attractions near by. Good service and good staff to help you 24 hours. I booked family room with 2 beds, room is very clean and comfortable! Recommended for who travel to Kyoto!

We really enjoyed our stay — everything was clean, and the staff were amazing. We had our luggage sent from our hotel in Tokyo to Hop Inn with no issues. However, this location didn’t offer a service to send luggage onward. Thankfully, we were able to take care of it easily at the Family Mart just across the street. The only downside was that, although the room was clean, there was a strong odor — like stinky socks — that seemed to linger in the carpet. It was noticeable throughout our stay. The location is conveniently infront of the train station and multiple buses. Overall, a pleasant experience with great service, but the room smell could use some attention.
