A wonderful conversation of a previous government building. Mezzanine bedrooms work really well. Reception staff accommodating and helpful. Location very central. Spa was not very aesthetic. More for real keep fit members than hotel guests. Cafe, restaurant and barbers all in same building. Recommended.

A wonderful, historic hotel set in the centre of the city. We had a one bedroom suite which had everything we needed (living room, dining table and kitchen). The bedroom, dressing room and bathroom were upstairs. The staff were welcoming and helpful and made us feel very much at home.

This is our second stay here and it doesn't disappoint. not only are the rooms extremely large split level, its very central and easy to walk wherever you need to go in town. We visited a year ago, and it was interesting to see just in that year the work that has been done around town. Christchurch is really going to be an amazing city (already is) and the Heritage is right in the middle of it all! The service is flawless, thank you to all the staff for your help. However we were disappointed to see the restaurant was closed this time, they did the best dessert which we were looking forward to. I highly recommend this place only so many levels. We look forward to coming back!

Cannot beat the location! Service was excellent too. Historic building with charm. Onsight Bar with music, Restaurant & Barber. Gym, indoor Pool, Spa and Sauna (open late till 10.30am too which is great). The Tram rolls past outside and you can walk anywhere in the centre city. love it!
