Staff were so accommodating as we couldn't get there before reception closed. Great communication and super friendly. The room has recently been refurbished and is lovely. Shower great. Bed comfy. Walking distance to train station. They also let us leave our car there. Would definitely stay again.

Grand Riccarton Hotel An absolute home-run of a hotel, if it weren't for the stadium smelling of fish. The hotel was extraordinarily cheap and delivered spectacularly well. The beds were quality, the bathroom felt exquisite and the general QOL amenities were lovely. Everything was an absolute blessing, however the only let-down being the easily heard neighbours just outside (They were hardly loud) and horrendous fish stink coming from somewhere in the room. However, these minor setbacks are of course, by visit, and the pros far outweigh the cons leading to my 5 star review.

I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as complimentary tea and coffee, quality toiletries, and high-speed wifi. The location is convenient, with easy access to local attractions, transport, and shopping areas. What stood out the most was the exceptional customer service. Every member of the team—from the front desk to housekeeping—was courteous and eager to help. They truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Highly recommend the Grand Riccarton Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, classy, and well-run place to stay. I look forward to returning!
