Stayed at the Grand Hyatt Beijing twice during our 12 day China trip, one time for 3 nights and the second for 1 night. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with Club floor access with an unexpected washing machine/dryer located in the kitchenette. A traveller's luxury when travelling on prolonged holidays with kids. The room was slightly dated but practical and comfortable. I would suggest if getting a 2 bedroom to request for a room above level 12. On our second stay we were given a room in level 8 and had to change lifts twice to get to the lobby which was slightly inconvenient. Thoroughly enjoyed the Club lounge and a big thank you to Harry Liu, Kiko, Apple and Libby from the Club floor for looking after our family. A very busy hotel but it had a warm and welcoming ambience with a good gym and an amazing pool. The location to Wang Fu Jing was a big plus as well!
Great location seems very central with walkways to the mall and busy streets and shops with a subway right next door. Staff were okay but seemed to lack any engagement. Service skills need overall improvement. Rooms in the east tower side are very old and outdated and need some renovation love. Gym is medium sized. Swimming pool looks nice. Club lounge was decent sized with good food. Rooms service menu was limited.
We were absolutely blown away by our stay during Golden Week, which also happened to be our anniversary. From the moment we booked, the staff went above and beyond—reaching out two weeks before our arrival to arrange transportation and ensure every detail was taken care of. When we arrived at our room, we were welcomed with a beautiful surprise: a swan made of towels and rose petals decorating both the bed and the bathtub. It was such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. Throughout our visit, the hotel staff demonstrated incredible hospitality. While they were a bit hands-on with our belongings—folding our laundry and neatly rolling up our cords—I believe it’s just part of the warm Beijing hospitality. The team at the front desk was incredibly helpful, always ready to assist and answer our questions. Having stayed at many hotels across China over the past decade, this one truly stands out as the most memorable. Thank you for making our anniversary so special!
My family and I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Beijing in May 2025 for 4 nights, and our experience was truly amazing. We booked one of the premium 2-bedroom suites with access to the grand club and the facilities were top-notch from start to finish. The service from the staff was extremely friendly and professional from the moment we arrived. All our needs were attended to promptly and attentively, making us feel truly valued as guests. Most impressive was the special attention from the Guest Relations team who took the initiative to prepare a birthday surprise for our twin daughters. This small touch—complete with complimentary treats—was very touching and made their birthdays unforgettable. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with an elegant design that reflected the standards of a five-star hotel. We also enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the grand club, and both were excellent. The menu choices were varied, with delicious flavors and excellent quality food. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Beijing provided an amazing stay for our family. From the personalized service, to the comfort of the room, to the attention to small details—everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for luxurious and family-friendly accommodation in downtown Beijing.
Our recent stay at the Grand Hyatt Beijing was both comfortable and convenient. Strategically located in the heart of the city, the hotel offers easy access to the subway, nearby shopping malls, and a variety of dining options—making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. We also hosted a meeting at the hotel, which provided a professional and well-equipped setting. However, we encountered some communication challenges as several hotel staff members had limited English proficiency. While they were polite and willing to assist, the language barrier at times made it difficult to convey specific requests or coordinate details smoothly.
