My wife was in Melbourne for work. As things turned out this visit coincided with a very special birthday. Jaime (I hope I spelt your name correctly) - a person from the Front Desk, kindly arranged for a card and cake to be delivered to her room. Overall a good hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, and clean/comfortable rooms. Rooms are starting to feel a little old/dated but they’re still nice. Convenient location, however, just be cautious late a night. Being so close to the train station there are some interesting characters hanging around at night.

I stayed here for two nights and it was amazing. Thank you to Kayla (I’m sorry if I remembered your name wrong) for a wonderful and hospitable check in. All the staff is very accommodating. The location is SO convenient! It’s perfect to just leave and walk around, there’s tons of restaurants and things to do and public transportation nearby. It’s in the heart of the CBD. I will absolutely stay here again. Everything is clean and to the Hilton standard. Thank you!!

I stayed here for a week and had such a great experience! As a long-stay guest and a Silver member, I truly felt valued and appreciated throughout my time here. Big shoutout to Madisyn, Hayden, and Saki – they were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Whether it was a question or a special request, they always went the extra mile and handled everything with a smile. It honestly made me feel like a truly valued guest. Also want to give special mention to Stephen from the breakfast team. Over the past few days, I noticed how genuinely warm and proactive he is with every guest. He always brought such great energy in the mornings and made everyone feel welcome – it really stood out. The rest of the breakfast staff were also fantastic and friendly. While it was slightly less convenient having to head to the ground floor for still water—unlike some other DoubleTree properties where bottled water is provided—I completely understand and appreciate the hotel’s eco-conscious approach. In fact, I turned those water-refill trips into an opportunity to clock some steps in! Lastly, the location is super convenient – close to the tram and train stations, which made getting around Melbourne really easy. All in all, I had a really positive stay and would definitely choose this hotel again the next time I’m in Melbourne. Thanks to the whole team for making it such a pleasant experience!
